Dear Governor Christie,

I am writing from the CASA program serving children in ________ County. We wanted you to know how grateful we are for the fact that you recognized the value of CASA advocacy for children in out-of-home placement and thank you for maintaining restored funding of $2 million for CASA in the FY18 State Budget.

This funding will enable us to continue making the progress we have experienced since FY15, reaching more children in out-of-home placement, ensuring their safety, well-being, and permanency, while also meeting the requirements of the NJ Judiciary Standards for CASA programs. We are grateful to you and your administration for your strong support and for your recognition of this important partnership between CASA and the State of New Jersey.

On behalf of all of the children who will continue to benefit from our services because of this funding, we thank you!

Sincerely,
(insert name and CASA program)
